When to Perform Agnihotra
Agnihotra must be performed at the exact moment when half the sun is visible on the horizon — not a minute before, not a minute after. This clock shows you that precise sacred moment for your exact location.
Sūryāya Svāhā · Sūryāya Idaṃ Na Mama
Agnaye Svāhā · Agnaye Idaṃ Na Mama
Exact Moment
The Agnihotra moment is when exactly half the solar disc crosses the horizon — neither the start of twilight nor full sunrise. This clock calculates that precise second for you.
Fire Must Be Ready
Light your copper pyramid fire 5–10 minutes before the countdown reaches zero. The fire must be burning steadily when the exact moment arrives — not being lit at that moment.
Two Offerings
At the exact moment, offer ghee-soaked rice into the fire while chanting the mantra — first offering at Svāhā. Repeat immediately for the second offering. Both together complete one Agnihotra.
Location Matters
Sunrise and sunset times vary by your exact location — even within the same city. Always use your precise coordinates. This clock uses your GPS location for maximum accuracy.
Sacred Materials
Use only: dried desi cow dung, pure desi cow ghee, raw brown rice (unpolished), and a copper pyramid. No substitutes — the specific combination carries the Vedic potency.
Daily Practice
Agnihotra must be performed every single day without break — sunrise and sunset both. Even one missed session disrupts the continuity of the sacred fire's blessings in your home.
