1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Swara Yoga Peeth, Rishikesh (“we”, “our”, or “us”), including our website, courses, temple services, accommodation, and any related platforms, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Our Services
Swara Yoga Peeth offers yoga education programs (online, offline, and hybrid), temple pooja services, ashram accommodation, spiritual retreats, workshops, and related spiritual and wellness services. The specific details, schedules, fees, and availability of each service are provided on the relevant pages of our platform.
3. Course Enrollment
Eligibility: Courses are open to individuals who meet the prerequisites specified for each program level. Participants must provide accurate personal and health information during registration.
Confirmation: Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of the applicable fee and a confirmation email or message from our team. Seats are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Health Declaration: By enrolling, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate. You must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions that may be affected by yoga practice.
4. Fees & Payments
All fees are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and/or US Dollars (USD) and are payable through the methods specified on our platform, including UPI, bank transfer, and online payment gateways.
Fees must be paid in full before the start of the course or service unless an installment plan has been explicitly agreed upon in writing. Early bird discounts, where offered, apply only within the specified time window.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
By the Student: Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to our admin office. Refunds are processed as follows: full refund if cancelled 30+ days before the course start date; 50% refund if cancelled 15-29 days before; no refund for cancellations within 14 days of the start date or after the course has commenced.
By the Institution: Swara Yoga Peeth reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course or service due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund or transfer to an alternative date will be offered.
Donations: Donations are non-refundable and are used solely for the purpose specified at the time of the contribution.
6. Code of Conduct
All participants, visitors, and users are expected to maintain respectful behavior towards teachers, staff, fellow students, and the ashram environment. This includes:
- Respecting the spiritual and cultural traditions of the ashram
- Maintaining silence in designated areas
- Abstaining from alcohol, tobacco, and non-vegetarian food on premises
- Following the schedule and guidelines set by the course instructor
- Treating all property and facilities with care
Violation of the code of conduct may result in dismissal from the course or premises without refund.
7. Liability Disclaimer
Yoga and related practices involve physical activity. Swara Yoga Peeth, its teachers, and staff shall not be held liable for any injuries, illness, or damages that may occur during or as a result of participating in our programs or staying at our facilities.
Participants engage in all activities at their own risk and are advised to consult a medical professional before undertaking any physical practice.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this platform, including text, images, logos, course materials, videos, audio recordings, and software, is the intellectual property of Swara Yoga Peeth or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written consent. Course materials provided to enrolled students are for personal use only and may not be shared or redistributed.
9. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described therein.
10. Modifications
Swara Yoga Peeth reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.
