About This Course

The Swara Yoga Advance Course represents the summit of the formal teaching curriculum — the level at which the practitioner moves from understanding and practice into genuine mastery. Where the Basic and Intermediate courses develop awareness and skill, the Advance course develops direct volitional control over the Nadi, Tattva and Prana systems.

This course introduces the powerful Shiv Kriya practices, which are given only to students with sufficient pranic capacity developed through the previous levels. It covers the full cycle of all three bodies — physical (Sthula), subtle (Sukshma) and causal (Karana) — and their Swara correspondences, giving the student a complete map of the human system as seen through the lens of Swara Yoga.

Special practices include visits to high-vibration sacred places for advance sadhana, Advance Agnihotra, Tattva Awakening and Tattva Shuddhi, and a complete Pranayama system with Mudra and Bandha as practised in the Shaiva tradition.

Course Curriculum

Module 01
Changing the Tattva at Will
Advanced methods for deliberately shifting the active Tattva through specific breath techniques, Mudras and mental practices. The ability to invoke any Tattva at will gives the practitioner extraordinary control over the quality of their experience and the outcome of their actions.
Module 02
Control Over Nadi and Tattva
Moving beyond identification into active mastery — the ability to hold a chosen Nadi open and a chosen Tattva active for extended periods. The applications of this mastery in healing, spiritual practice, decision-making and creative work.
Module 03
Advance Kriya of Prana-Apana
The advanced Kriya practices of Prana-Apana union — Kumbhaka-based techniques that merge the upward and downward Pranas into Samana fire. This process is directly preparatory for the awakening of Kundalini-Shakti and the opening of Sushumna.
Module 04
Shiv Kriya for Higher Attainments
The Shiv Kriya practices are given at this level — powerful Tantric techniques that harness the Nadi-Tattva-Prana system for the attainment of extraordinary states of consciousness and specific spiritual powers (Siddhis). These practices are transmitted directly and require prior preparation.
Module 05
Physical, Subtle and Causal Body Cycles
The complete mapping of Swara cycles through all three bodies — the gross physical body (Sthula Sharira), the pranic-subtle body (Sukshma Sharira) and the causal seed body (Karana Sharira). How these three cycles interlock and how to work with each for specific purposes.
Module 06
Advance Application of Nadi and Tattva
Advanced practical application of Nadi-Tattva knowledge — in healing the body and mind, in entering meditation at will, in creative and intellectual work, in influencing others positively, and in timing major life decisions with precision.
Module 07
Advance Prana Sadhana
An intensive daily Prana Sadhana of advanced practice — combining Pranayama, Mudra, Bandha, visualisation and Swara techniques into a unified daily routine that systematically purifies all 72,000 Nadis and awakens the dormant pranic potential.
Module 08
Tattva Awakening and Tattva Shuddhi
The systematic awakening of each of the five Tattvas (Prithvi, Jala, Agni, Vayu, Akasha) within the subtle body through specific practice sequences. Tattva Shuddhi — the purification of the elemental composition of the body — for health, clarity and spiritual elevation.
Module 09
Visits to High Vibration Places and Advance Practices
Selected visits to sacred places of high pranic vibration — temples, rivers and mountain sites in and around Rishikesh — for specific advance practices in the field. Understanding how location affects Swara, Prana and consciousness, and how to harness the energy of sacred geography.
Module 10
Advance Agnihotra Sadhana
The Vedic fire sacrifice of Agnihotra performed at the precise Swara moment — using the alignment of breath, Tattva, time and fire to purify the atmosphere, the subtle body and the practitioner's pranic field. Advanced Agnihotra variations and their specific applications.
Module 11
Nadi-Tattva-Prana Daily Alignment
The complete daily practice system — from waking to sleep — that aligns the practitioner's activities, food, relationships and sadhana with the living cycle of Nadi, Tattva and Prana. A total lifestyle application of Swara Yoga for the advance practitioner.
Module 12
Advance Yoga Nidra & Pranayama with Mudra and Bandha
Advanced Yoga Nidra as practiced in the Shaiva tradition — entering the states between waking and sleep with full awareness and using this liminal space for deep healing and spiritual advancement. Combined with a complete system of advance Pranayama techniques using Mudra and Bandha for maximum pranic effect.
